I joined the program because I wanted to start a company and build a productionalized and professional application. I had reasonable expectations going in but these were blown out of the water. My instructor Michael Russo was undoubtably the best teacher I’ve ever had in my life. His combination of technical knowledge and organic desire to teach made for an outstanding experience. I wasn’t just taught how to code, or how to build a website, I was taught how to be an Engineer. Everything from the agile workflow, to working with a group and using branch protections and writing thorough pull requests were covered. I frankly don’t think these things are normal in a bootcamp curriculum, and they are instrumental in transitioning from coder to Engineer.

My experience in the program was spectacular. I was taught more than I thought was possible to learn in 6 months and was given a plentiful amount of resources to choose from in order to further my learning experience.

Great introduction to data analysis technologies and methodologies that I use every day at work currently. It set me up to learn more, especially to make in impact in healthcare.

It was a rough 6 months with family/kids + full-time job, however, this program was one of the best investments in my life. I came to the bootcamp after working in tech for approx 8 years. Adding the coding knowledge + cert on my belt was humongous. I was offered a job right after the bootcamp where my previous experience working with enterprise clients in tech and the addition of the coding knowledge was a perfect fit.

I needed to learn new skills as I wanted to pivot my background in software engineering and utilize it in a new way. After working with a career counselor, I learned that I wanted to work in cyber. The impact is that it led me to this position where I can utilize my engineering skills with Python in the Cyber Security field and, hopefully be more fulfilled professionally. It has also changed my work ethic so that I am more motivated to stay current with technology

I chose to get a jumpstart on changing careers. The new skillset I’ve gained from the program has had immeasurable results.

I chose to attend because I was unhappy with my career path and desired to make a change. I wanted to work as a developer despite having no experience or prior programming education. It impacted my life by teaching me the skills that ultimately landed me the job I really wanted.

I already had some experience with Python and ML, but I attended the boot camp to build a wide variety of technical skills (JavaScript, D3, Postgres, etc.). It was perfect for this. I feel much more confident taking on new projects and expanding my responsibilities at work.

I chose to attend this boot camp so that I could work on new skills part-time without needing to invest in a graduate school degree. The class kept me on track while I studied diligently with the goal of changing my career. The impact has been positive and I have reached my goals.

I have learned more here than I ever could have learned on my own. The way that the instructors care about your education is phenomenal. They take the time to make sure to answer any uncertainties that you may have and do not hesitate to reach out and make sure that you are comfortable with the material. It is a boot camp, so be ready to take on new information and projects with an allotted amount of time. The experience has been one that I am happy to be a part of and completely recommend the Boot Camp for anyone who is interested in embarking on a new journey into Web Development.
